Your opinion of the library counts!
Web survey for members of staff and students at Leiden University.
As a registered member of staff or student at Leiden University* you will receive an invitation to participate in this web survey via your university email account on November 7, 2016. We pose 16 questions and answering them will take around 7 minutes.
Participants of the survey will be eligible to win:
1 iPad AIR 2 WiFi 32 GB
5 Gift Cards for the cinema to the value of €25,-
*You can only take part in this survey by clicking the URL that you have received via your university e-mail account. Staff of the LUMC and medical students will not receive an invite for the web survey.
Using the results of the inquiry as a guide, the UBL will be able to improve her services to you purposefully. Even if you make little use of the physical libraries, but do use the digital information, your opinion is valuable.
We expect to announce the most important conclusions drawn from the survey mid-January 2017. Of course we will also keep you up to date on any improvements we make as a result of the inquiry.
To conduct this survey we use LibQual+, an international survey method that has been filled out by over one million library users worldwide. More information on LibQual is available on our special website.
The results of a similar survey in 2014 have resulted in a number of actions:
The opening hours have been extended
New printers were installed
It is now possible to collect and return books at all library locations
In the North Hall of the University Library the study places have been equipped with sockets
Several staff members have attended a course in customer satisfaction
