Leiden University, the Faculty of Archaeology, and other Dutch institutions offer a great number of scholarships.

 


Dutch and EEA/EU/Swiss students

Leiden University offers Dutch/EEA (European Economic Area), EU (European Union) and Swiss students various scholarships based on their performances and needs. These are scholarships that give a reduction on the tuition fee as well as scholarships that are given to students from certain partner universities.

LExS scholarships for non-EU/EER students

Leiden University offers scholarships to outstanding non-EU/EEA students pursuing an English taught master’s degree programme at Leiden University.

Eligibility
The scholarship programme is intended for candidates showing the highest achievements and promise for a master's degree study starting in September or February. The maximum study period is 12 months (1-year programme) or 24 months (2-year programme).  

LExS scholarships are available for those master's programmes conducted in English (MA, MSc, Mphil, LL.M (Adv.) and LL.M. programmes) as mentioned the scholarship pages.
